Collette has added to its popular European tour offering with several trips across mainland Europe and the UK.
The Explorations 15-day Flavours of Portugal and Spain tour travels through the Iberian Peninsula and includes sampling different vintage wines and taking in the rich culture of both countries. The Explorations line is Collette’s most sought-after product.
During their journey through Spain and Portugal, travellers have the chance to step into the home of a bullfighter in Pamplona and learn about this tradition. The tour also features a visit to a Spanish cider house as well as the opportunity to take part in a petiscos cooking class in the picturesque Douro River Valley.
Collette reminds travellers that they can be among the first to embark on the new Spotlight on Northern Italy tour. The tour enables travellers to spend a week exploring the region of Veneto including seven nights in Treviso, the birthplace of tiramisu.
Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on tiramisu cooking class alongside a pastry chef.
Other highlights include a winery tour and tasting in the Prosecco region together with a full-day tour of the awe-inspiring Dolomites. The day tour to the Dolomites includes a cable car ride and a stop in Cortina, host city for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
“Our brand-new Spotlight on Northern Italy tour is a fantastic way to explore some of Italy’s most interesting regions, ” said Karen Deveson, Collette’s Australian managing director. “Spotlight tours are perfect for getting to know a destination in depth as travellers stay in one hotel for the duration of their stay. “
“We’re also seeing an increase in interest in our Spotlight tour of London and our Greece Island Hopper tour which features Mykonos, Santorini and Athens.”
Travellers who embark on Spotlight on London with Collette get to live like a local. From taking the Underground, to exploring local markets, to seeing a show or partaking in afternoon tea, visitors will learn about the city’s fascinating history including a guided tour of the infamous Tower of London and a relaxing trip down the Thames.
Another upcoming favourite is the Greece Island Hopper tour which kicks off in Athens with a local expert to learn about the city’s renowned classical sites. Stops include the Temple of Zeus, the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Solider, and the Olympic Stadium. The tour also focuses on the island of Mykonos, where travellers can soak in some sun while they enjoy the regional delicacies and scenery. The three days that will be spent on the island allow plenty of time for visits to beaches, cafes, and a farm for a cheese tasting.
